Os alunos dos 2ºs anos do Ensino Fundamental I estão aprendendo a se reconhecer como pessoas que compõem uma sociedade, na qual cada um tem um papel atuante. Durante as aulas, as turmas compreenderam que além dos fatos históricos da sociedade inteira, cada um carrega consigo a própria história e a de sua família.
Para enriquecer ainda mais os aprendizados sobre este tema, os estudantes exploraram os conteúdos abordados nas disciplinas de História e Inglês, com o objetivo de confeccionar a árvore genealógica da própria família.
Na atividade foi utilizada a abordagem CLIL, “Content and Language Integrated Learning”, que faz com que os alunos aprendam inglês de maneira integrada com as outras disciplinas e usem o idioma estrangeiro como pano de fundo para o desenvolvimento das atividades. Assim, as crianças integram a língua inglesa em suas rotinas e passam a usá-la de maneira natural.
Building the Family tree
The students of year 2 from Elementary School are learning to recognize themselves as people who make up a society, in which each has an active role. During classes, the classes understood that in addition to the historical facts of the whole society, each one carries their own history and that of their family.
To further enrich their learning on this topic, students explored the content covered in the subjects of History and English, with the aim of making the family tree of their own family.
The activity used the CLIL approach, “Content and Language Integrated Learning”, which makes students learn English in an integrated manner with the other subjects and use the foreign language as a background for the development of activities. Thus, children integrate the English language into their routines and start using it naturally.
