O Programa Bilíngue do CVVP tem feito com que a língua inglesa se torne parte do dia a dia dos alunos de maneira natural e dinâmica. Por meio de um ensino integrado, com a metodologia CLIL – content and language integrated learning, os alunos são convidados a realizar atividades que envolvem diferentes disciplinas, mas que têm o aprendizado do inglês como pano de fundo.
Neste trimestre, no Ensino Fundamental Anos Iniciais, a abordagem CLIL está integrando as atividades avaliativas em várias disciplinas. Em uma das aulas, por exemplo, os alunos do 2º ano reuniram os conhecimentos de Inglês e História para criar uma linha do tempo sobre as roupas.
Entre figuras recortadas de revistas, imagens retiradas da internet e desenhos, a atividade permitiu que os estudantes observassem detalhadamente algumas peças de roupa, utilizando palavras como past, presente e future durante a elaboração da linha do tempo.
Além de estimular a criatividade e a imaginação dos alunos, a atividade envolveu aspectos importantes sobre conhecimentos históricos e ampliou o desenvolvimento de habilidades artísticas.
Let´s build a clothing timeline?
The CVVP’s Bilingual Program has made the English language part of the students’ daily lives in a natural and dynamic way. Through an integrated teaching, with the CLIL methodology – Content and Language Integrated Learning, students are invited to carry out activities that involve different subjects, but that have the learning of English as a background.
In this quarter, in Elementary Education for Early Years, the CLIL approach is integrating assessment activities in various disciplines. In one of the classes, for example, the 2nd year students gathered their knowledge of English and History to create a timeline about clothes.
Among figures cut out of magazines, images taken from the internet and drawings, the activity allowed students to observe in detail some pieces of clothing, using words such as past, present and future during the elaboration of the timeline.
In addition to stimulating students’ creativity and imagination, the activity involved important aspects of historical knowledge and expanded the development of artistic skills.
