A leitura é uma prática fundamental durante o aprendizado de um novo idioma, que beneficia os alunos de diferentes formas. Além de contribuir com a ampliação do vocabulário, auxilia no desenvolvimento da escrita e ajuda na diferenciação da gramática formal e informal.
Em uma das atividades do Programa Bilíngue, os alunos dos 2ºs e 5ºs anos do Ensino Fundamental Anos Iniciais fizeram a leitura de um livro e usaram a ferramenta Padlet para montar um mural repleto de recordações e sentimentos.
A partir do livro Grandma ‘s clock, da Editora FTD, os alunos do 2º ano se aventuraram em busca de objetos que estão presentes em suas famílias há muitos anos e que pertenceram a diferentes gerações. Além de compartilhar as descobertas com os colegas de classe, os estudantes relembraram histórias e pessoas queridas.
Já os 5ºs anos fizeram a leitura do livro Nuala, também da Editora FTD, que possibilitou uma importante reflexão acerca do abandono de animais. A partir da história, os estudantes compartilharam fotos dos seus animais de estimação e fizeram uma breve apresentação com as principais características deles.

An affectionate reading!
Reading is a fundamental practice when learning a new language, which benefits students in different ways. In addition to contributing to the expansion of vocabulary, it helps in the development of writing and helps in the differentiation of formal and informal grammar.
In one of the activities of the Bilingual Program, students in the year 2 and year 5 from Elementary school ( beginners years ) read a book and used the Padlet tool to assemble a mural full of memories and feelings.
Starting with the book Grandma’s clock, from Editora FTD, year 2 students ventured in search of objects that have been present in their families for many years and that belonged to different generations. In addition to sharing their findings with classmates, students recalled stories and loved ones.
The year 5, on the other hand, read the book Nuala, also by Editora FTD, which enabled an important reflection on the abandonment of animals. From the story, the students shared photos of their pets and made a brief presentation with their main characteristics.
