Na sexta-feira, dia 31 de janeiro, os alunos dos 7ºs anos foram à sala Google com o objetivo fazer pesquisas de vocabulário para ampliar a composição dos textos propostos pela professora Patricia Mozelli de Língua Inglesa.
Como parte do Projeto Bilíngue que está sendo implementado este ano no Ensino Fundamental II, é importante conhecer os diferentes níveis linguísticos dos alunos para fazer os ajustes necessários a fim de que tudo ocorra da maneira mais natural possível.
Portanto, logo na primeira aula, a professora Patricia se apresentou aos alunos por meio de uma brincadeira. Em seguida, eles também se apresentaram brevemente e escolheram palavras que os representassem, tudo em inglês. Depois, os alunos foram divididos em pequenos grupos e formularam perguntas para entrevistar a professora.
Com informações suficientes, chegou o momento da produção dos textos. O objetivo era que eles produzissem dois parágrafos: um em 1ª pessoa sobre eles mesmos e outro em 3ª pessoa sobre a professora. A única regra era que eles não poderiam se ajudar na criação dos textos nesse momento, mas poderiam trabalhar em conjunto na utilização das ferramentas de busca.
Após a correção das redações, será possível obter um diagnóstico mais preciso sobre o conhecimento linguístico de cada aluno para dar andamento ao projeto.
Além dos estudantes terem se divertido na atividade, eles também se sentiram desafiados durante a produção de seus textos e puderam fazer uma avaliação de seus conhecimentos prévios, revisar conteúdos e compartilhar conhecimentos com os colegas de classe.
On Friday, January 31, the 7th graders went to the “Sala Google” with the aim of doing vocabulary research to expand the writing of the texts proposed by the English teacher Patricia Mozelli.
As part of the Bilingual Project that is being implemented this year in Junior High School, it is important to know the different language levels of the students to make the necessary adjustments so that everything happens in the most natural way possible.
Therefore, in the first class, teacher Patricia introduced herself to the students through a game. Then, they also introduced themselves briefly and chose words to represent them, all in English. Then, the students were divided into small groups and asked questions to interview the teacher.
With enough information, it was time to produce the texts. The goal was for them to write two paragraphs: one in the 1st person about themselves and another one in the 3rd person about the teacher. The only rule was that they could not help each other in the creation of their texts at that moment, but they could work together in the use of search engines.
After correcting the essays, it will be possible to obtain a more accurate diagnosis of each student’s linguistic knowledge to proceed with the project.
In addition to the students having fun in the activity, they also felt challenged during the production of their writings and were able to make an assessment of their previous knowledge, review content and share knowledge with their classmates.
